We use device and session data to authenticate users, manage trusted devices and sessions, detect unauthorized access, and protect against credential sharing and subscription abuse. 1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Technolygy LLC d/b/a Pocket Retainer® collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you use Pocket Retainer: Legal Rights, https://www.PocketRetainer.com, related services, and communications (collectively, the “Service”). This Policy does not govern independent third-party services that you access outside Pocket Retainer. App marketplaces, authentication providers, and other third parties may process information under their own privacy policies.

We use this information to authenticate users, manage authorized devices and sessions, send new-device/security notices, enforce reasonable concurrent-session controls, detect suspicious activity, prevent subscription abuse, and protect users and the Service.
Camera, Microphone, Photos, Files, and User Content: If you grant permission and use applicable features, Pocket Retainer may access the camera, microphone, photo library, files, or other device storage to capture or import recordings, photos, documents, notes, and other incident materials. Content that remains solely on your device is not collected by us merely because it exists in the app. When you choose a feature that transmits, shares, backs up, syncs, processes, or otherwise sends content off-device, we process the content and metadata necessary to provide that requested feature.
Location Information: If you enable a location-based feature, we may process precise or approximate location information to attach location context to an incident, recording, or other app feature. You can control location permission through your device settings. Certain features may not work without the requested permission.
AI Inputs and Outputs: When you use an AI-powered feature, we process the prompts, questions, context, and other information you choose to submit, together with generated output and limited technical metadata needed to provide, secure, and troubleshoot the feature. AI requests may be transmitted to an AI service provider acting on our behalf or as otherwise described at the time of use.
Documents and Agreements: When you use document or contract-generation tools, we process the information you enter and the generated document content as necessary to create, display, save, export, or share the requested document.
Support and Communications: We collect messages, attachments, contact information, and related records when you contact support, respond to a verification or security message, participate in feedback, or otherwise communicate with us.

5. No Sale of Personal Information; Advertising
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by California privacy law. Transactional and security communications are not marketing and may be necessary to operate and protect your account.
6. Account and Device Security
Pocket Retainer may maintain trusted-device and session records to protect your account. A new device may require verification, and suspicious activity may trigger reauthentication, session revocation, device deauthorization, password-reset requirements, or temporary restrictions on new device authorization. Security logs may include device/app identifiers, network information, timestamps, authentication events, and actions taken to protect the account. We use these records for account management, fraud prevention, security, compliance, and dispute investigation.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, satisfy subscription and transaction obligations, protect security, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain legitimate business records. Retention periods vary by data type. Account data is generally retained while your account is active. Certain transaction, tax, legal, security, fraud-prevention, and dispute records may be retained after account deletion when reasonably necessary or legally required. Backup copies may persist for a limited period before being overwritten or deleted in the ordinary course. We seek to avoid retaining precise location, user content, and security identifiers longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose for which they were processed.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. Measures may include encrypted transport, access controls, authentication, session management, logging, trusted-device controls, and protections provided by device operating systems and service providers. No security system can guarantee absolute protection. You are responsible for protecting your device, email account, authentication methods, passwords, and recovery information and for promptly reporting unauthorized access.

Device permissions: control camera, microphone, photos/files, notifications, and location permissions through your device settings
Trusted devices/sessions: where available, review or revoke devices or sessions associated with your account
Subscription: manage auto-renewal and cancellation through the marketplace where you purchased the subscription
Account deletion: use the in-app deletion control or submit a request at https://pocketretainer.com/delete-account/
Marketing: use any unsubscribe mechanism provided in optional marketing communications. Security and transactional messages may continue while your account remains active
10. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your Pocket Retainer account through the in-app account-deletion feature or our account-deletion webpage. Account deletion is separate from cancellation of an App Store or Google Play subscription. See the Account Deletion Policy for details about server-side deletion, locally stored content, marketplace records, and lawful retention.
11. Children
Pocket Retainer is intended for adults age 18 or older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly offer accounts to children under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account contrary to this requirement, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
12. International Users and Transfers
Pocket Retainer is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from those in your country. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers.
