1. Scope and Acceptance
These Subscription Terms apply to Pocket Retainer Pro and any other auto-renewable subscription offered through Pocket Retainer. They supplement the Terms of Service and apply whenever you start a trial, purchase, restore, renew, or use a subscription entitlement. By starting a trial or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Subscription Terms, the Terms of Service, the applicable app-marketplace terms, and the price and billing information shown at checkout.
2. Plans and Pricing
Pocket Retainer may offer monthly, annual, promotional, introductory, or other subscription plans. Current standard U.S. pricing is $7.99 per month or $59.99 per year. The exact price charged to you is the price displayed by the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other authorized marketplace at the time of purchase. Prices may vary by country, currency, taxes, exchange rates, marketplace pricing tiers, promotions, and changes made with legally required notice.
3. Three-Day Free Trial
Eligible new subscribers may receive a three-day free trial where displayed at purchase. Trial eligibility is determined by the applicable marketplace and Pocket Retainer subscription configuration and may be limited to one introductory offer per eligible account or store account. Unless you cancel before the renewal cutoff shown by the marketplace, the trial converts automatically to the subscription plan you selected and the marketplace will charge the applicable price. Starting a trial means you authorize automatic renewal after the trial unless canceled in time. If a trial is not offered or you are not eligible, the purchase screen will display the amount that will be charged before you confirm the transaction.
4. Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing period unless canceled before the applicable renewal cutoff. Renewal timing and charging are controlled by the marketplace that processed your purchase. You are responsible for reviewing the renewal date, price, and cancellation controls shown in your Apple or Google subscription settings. We may send reminder or lifecycle emails as a convenience, but failure to receive an email does not extend a marketplace cancellation deadline.
5. Billing and Payment Processing
Apple App Store and Google Play purchases are billed by the applicable marketplace, not directly by Pocket Retainer. Your marketplace account and payment method are subject to that marketplace’s terms. Pocket Retainer and its subscription-management provider may receive transaction identifiers, product identifiers, entitlement status, renewal or expiration status, trial status, and limited billing-status information needed to provide and manage access. We generally do not receive your full payment-card number from app marketplaces.
6. Subscription Access Across Authorized Devices
A Pocket Retainer Pro subscription is associated with the registered Pocket Retainer account and applicable verified marketplace entitlement. A subscriber may use the subscription on the subscriber’s personally authorized compatible devices by signing into the same authorized Pocket Retainer account and successfully completing any reasonable authentication and security requirements. Pocket Retainer does not require a separate subscription merely because the same registered subscriber uses more than one personally authorized compatible device. For account security and subscription integrity, Pocket Retainer may use trusted-device verification, reasonable concurrent-session controls, reauthentication, security notifications, and temporary restrictions on new session or device authorization when unusual or potentially unauthorized activity is detected.
7. No Credential Sharing or Redistribution
Subscriptions are intended for the individual registered Pocket Retainer account holder. You may not sell, rent, sublicense, publicly post, distribute, transfer, or intentionally share your Pocket Retainer credentials or paid subscription access with unauthorized third parties. You may not operate or participate in credential-sharing services, public account pools, resale arrangements, subscription-sharing marketplaces, or other schemes that allow unrelated people to use one subscriber’s paid access. Reasonable account-security measures may be used to detect and address unauthorized credential sharing without preventing the registered subscriber from using the subscription on the subscriber’s own authorized devices.
8. Restore Purchases and Account Identity
Where supported by the marketplace, you may use Restore Purchases to re-establish an eligible entitlement associated with your purchase. Restoration is intended to reconnect a valid purchase to the authorized Pocket Retainer account of the subscriber who purchased or lawfully controls that entitlement. Restoration does not create a right to transfer a subscription to an unrelated Pocket Retainer account or to make one paid entitlement available to unauthorized third parties. Additional account verification may be required to protect against unauthorized transfer or sharing.
9. Billing Issues, Grace Periods, and Expiration
If a marketplace reports a billing problem, your subscription may enter a grace, retry, paused, or expired state depending on the marketplace and product configuration. Access may continue temporarily where the marketplace recognizes a grace period, or may be limited when the entitlement is no longer active. Pocket Retainer may send billing-issue or expiration notices using the contact information associated with your account. You remain responsible for updating payment details through the marketplace that processed the purchase.
10. Cancellation
You may cancel through Apple, Google, or the marketplace through which you purchased the subscription. Cancellation normally prevents the next renewal and does not immediately end access already paid for, unless the marketplace or applicable law provides otherwise. Deleting the Pocket Retainer app or deleting your Pocket Retainer account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. To prevent future marketplace charges, cancel the subscription separately through the applicable marketplace subscription settings.
11. Refunds
Refund eligibility for purchases processed by Apple or Google is generally determined and administered by the applicable marketplace under its policies and applicable law. Pocket Retainer cannot guarantee that a refund request will be approved. Nothing in these Subscription Terms limits any refund, cancellation, cooling-off, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived in your jurisdiction.
12. Price or Plan Changes
We may change subscription pricing, features, or plan structure prospectively. Marketplace rules and applicable law determine whether advance notice, affirmative consent, or other steps are required before a change applies to an existing subscriber. If you do not agree to a future change, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
13. Taxes and Currency
Prices may include or exclude taxes depending on your location and marketplace. The marketplace may calculate, collect, and remit sales tax, VAT, GST, or similar charges. Currency conversion and local pricing are determined by the marketplace and may differ from U.S. list prices.
14. Suspension for Fraud or Abuse
We may require account verification, revoke suspicious sessions, temporarily restrict new device/session authorization, or suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, unauthorized credential sharing, chargeback abuse, circumvention, or other material violations. We will not use these measures to require a legitimate subscriber to buy duplicate subscriptions for the subscriber’s own authorized compatible devices.
15. Relationship to Other Terms
These Subscription Terms supplement the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cancellation Policy, Recurring Billing Disclosure, and applicable marketplace terms. If there is a conflict concerning subscription billing or marketplace rights, mandatory marketplace terms and non-waivable law control.
16. Changes to These Subscription Terms
We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required by law.
