These Subscription Terms govern auto-renewable subscriptions for Pocket Retainer®. They are designed to be displayed consistently on iOS, Android, and PocketRetainer.com.
These Subscription Terms supplement the Pocket Retainer Terms of Service.
1. Current Subscription Plans
Pocket Retainer currently offers a Monthly plan at a U.S. reference price of $7.99 per month and an Annual plan at a U.S. reference price of $59.99 per year. Localized pricing, currency, taxes, and availability may differ by storefront or region. The exact price and billing period displayed by the applicable marketplace immediately before purchase control the transaction.
2. Apple App Store – 3-Day Free Trial
Eligible Apple App Store users may receive a three (3) day free trial for the selected Monthly or Annual plan. No subscription charge is due for the trial itself. Unless canceled before the trial ends in accordance with Apple's rules, the subscription automatically converts to the selected paid plan at the price shown at checkout and then renews automatically until canceled.
3. Google Play – 3-Day Free Trial
Eligible Google Play users may receive a three (3) day free trial for the selected Monthly or Annual plan. No subscription charge is due for the trial itself. Unless canceled before the trial ends in accordance with Google Play's rules, the subscription automatically converts to the selected paid plan at the price shown at checkout and then renews automatically until canceled.
4. Free-Trial Eligibility
Free-trial eligibility is determined by Apple or Google under the applicable marketplace rules and the user's store account history. A trial may be limited to new or otherwise eligible subscribers. Creating a new Pocket Retainer account, reinstalling the app, changing a Pocket Retainer login, or otherwise changing an in-app account does not guarantee eligibility for another free trial.
5. Clear Plan Selection and Checkout
Before purchase, the app and marketplace purchase sheet should identify the selected plan, subscription duration, current price, free-trial offer if eligible, the price that applies after the trial, and automatic-renewal terms. If a generalized description in Pocket Retainer conflicts with the final Apple or Google purchase sheet, the marketplace purchase sheet controls the transaction.
6. Automatic Renewal
After an eligible free trial, the selected paid subscription begins automatically at the recurring price shown at checkout unless canceled within the timeframe required by the applicable marketplace before the trial converts. After paid billing begins, the subscription automatically renews at the then-applicable recurring price until canceled. Billing timing, tax treatment, payment retries, grace periods, account hold, and other billing mechanics are controlled by the applicable marketplace and applicable law.
7. How to Cancel
Cancel at any time through the applicable marketplace. To avoid the first paid charge after a free trial, cancel before conversion under Apple or Google Play rules. Deleting the app or your Pocket Retainer account does not cancel the subscription.
Cancellation prevents future renewal charges and, when completed during an eligible free trial within the timeframe required by the applicable marketplace, prevents the trial from converting to a paid subscription. The effective end date of access after cancellation is determined by Apple or Google and the terms of the applicable subscription or free-trial offer. Depending on marketplace rules and applicable law, access may end immediately or may continue through the remainder of the free trial or current paid billing period. Cancellation does not itself entitle you to a refund or prorated credit for amounts already paid, except where required by applicable law or marketplace rules.
9. Restore Purchases and Entitlements
Where supported, the app may provide a Restore Purchases or similar function so the marketplace and RevenueCat can re-check subscription entitlements. Restoration does not create a new purchase, reset free-trial eligibility, or change the marketplace account that manages the subscription.
10. Refunds
Refunds for purchases processed through Apple or Google are generally controlled by the applicable marketplace and applicable law. Pocket Retainer does not promise a refund merely because a user cancels, deletes the app, deletes an account, does not use the Services, or becomes ineligible for a free trial. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory statutory refund, withdrawal, or consumer rights.
11. Price Changes and Taxes
We may change future subscription prices. Apple or Google may require advance notice, affirmative consent, price preservation, or other procedures before a changed price applies. Taxes and currency conversion may vary by location and marketplace.
12. Subscription Access and Changes to Features
An active entitlement provides access to the premium features associated with the selected subscription. We may update features over time for security, legal, technical, or product reasons, but will comply with applicable consumer law and marketplace requirements concerning material changes to paid services.
13. Website and Cross-Platform Use
These same Subscription Terms may be displayed on PocketRetainer.com, iOS, and Android. The three (3) day free trial may be offered to eligible users through Apple App Store or Google Play, subject to the applicable marketplace rules. Apple and Google may impose additional terms that supplement these Subscription Terms for purchases processed through their stores.
14. Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Subscription Terms excludes or limits a non-waivable consumer right, including any mandatory right relating to disclosures, renewal, cancellation, refund, price changes, or digital services under the law of the user's jurisdiction.
